CALL THE STUDIO (810) 420 - 1198

Q: What the heck is it called X100 for?

A: Radio stations just do not sound cool if they don't have a number in their names. You can be sure that the 100 stands for absolutely nothing more than a cool identity.

Q: I notice that sometimes during the day, I lose the stream or it comes in and out. It makes me feel sad when I can't listen to X100. What is going on?

A: Trust me, we feel more frustration towards this issue than you listeners probably do. Simply put, the technology surrounding internet radio has not been perfected yet, and due to that, stability in our stream is not guaranteed. Aside from that, we rely on five different companies plus countless pieces of hardware to work together at the same time to bring you a great sounding stream. Bare with us, we are still learning what works best for everyone.

Q: Your station sounds just so darn nice...why is that?

A: Internet radio can sound better than FM radio if the correct equipment is used. We use multiple audio processors, compressors, limiters, normalizers, and auto-gain controllers that deliver a fat, uniform sounding audio product to your doorstep. Even our jock uses a voice processor to make himself sound more like a man.

Q: I hate (insert song title here). What can I do to make you stop playing it?

A: Just send us an e-mail... . We are happy to entertain demands from listeners (especially if you listen all the time).

Q: How do you pay the bills?

A: Well, the station is really run off of the measly income of Adam, our live jock and Programming Director. If you feel led to donate some funds, check out our donate page for details. If not, no problem either -- Just listen!

Q: Your FAQ is Stupid.

A: Sorry. All submissions to the FAQ must be made in the form of a question.

Q: Where is X100 located at?

A: X100 is located in Tampa Florida (USA).

Q: Why doesn't the FAQ answer my question?

A: No one has asked it yet. Send it over to so we can.
